Statewide Resource Center

As part of MiGen’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ older adults, our Resource Center offers pro bono technical assistance and consultation to help community partners better support LGBTQ+ people as they age.

Whether an organization is exploring this work for the first time or building on existing efforts, we provide guidance, resources, and connections based on each partner’s goals, community, and available capacity.

Support can include:

• Building partnerships and community relationships

• Identifying and navigating funding opportunities

• Outreach and engagement strategies

• Program design and service development

• Strategic planning related to LGBTQ+ aging

• Access to curated resources, toolkits, virtual programming, and promising practices

• Evaluation planning and outcome measurement

• Connections to statewide and national LGBTQ+ aging networks

• Guidance on marketing, language, and communication

• And more
