MI Options is a statewide counseling program that helps aging adults, their loved ones, and caregivers make informed decisions about Medicare, long-term care, and available support services. The program is completely free and unbiased, offering personalized, one-on-one guidance to help people understand their options and access care that best fits their needs.
MI Options offers two main pathways of support:
- Medicare Counseling
Medicare Counseling helps people understand their Medicare options, compare plans, resolve issues, avoid scams and more – saving them hundreds of dollars and giving them confidence in their choices.
Person-Centered Options Counseling (PCOC)
Formally known as Community Navigation, Person-Centered Options Counseling (PCOC) is a collaborative service that helps participants explore long-term care options, plan for major life changes, and make decisions based on personal goals and preferences.
