Making the right impact
Culturally Responsive Trainings
MiGen offers beginner to advanced options for instructor-led or asynchronous online trainings and credentialing for folks who want to gain a better understanding of how to work with LGBTQ+ older adults or caregivers and develop or expand efforts to make their care more LGBTQ+-friendly. CEUs are offered for some training. Training also meets the medical licensure Implicit Bias requirement.
Turn Your Team Into Allies
Creating a safe space as a caregiver begins with your team. Get the training your staff needs to provide age-related care and be an LGBTQ+ advocate.
Instructor-Led Training
Instructor-led courses are for individuals, organizations, and providers seeking live facilitated training from a subject matter expert trainer that includes interactive discussions and activities. We offer live facilitated training in-person at your location and virtually via Zoom. MiGen offers beginner through advanced instruction and is also able to create custom trainings based on your specific needs.
Asynchronous Training
Asynchronous courses are for individuals, organizations, and providers seeking training in a self-paced and online (on-demand) format. This works well for direct care workers, social workers, and nurses who have limited availability. We offer 12 self-paced modules on various topics that last roughly 30 minutes in length per module.
