Act. Reflect. Commit. Curriculum

MiGen A.R.C. training is for aging care providers, direct care workers, caregivers, organizations or any service provider or individual seeking to expand their knowledge around culturally responsive practices and care for LGBTQ+ older adults. We offer up to 6 hours of training through our Act. Reflect. Commit curriculum, which includes 12 modules (30 minutes each) that focus on different topic areas to expand inclusive and culturally expansive practices to better serve LGBTQ+ older adults and those who care for them.

While A.R.C. training is for anyone interested in providing culturally responsive care to LGBTQT+ older adults and caregivers, MiGen also offers continuing education for providers in specialized fields. For those in the social work, nursing, or nursing home administrator professions, MiGen A.R.C. training offers up to 6 hours of continuing education units (CEU),contact hours and/or nursing licensing requirement hours. When paired with our monthly in-person FAQ hour, A.R.C. training modules also fulfill the medical licensure Implicit Bias requirement mandated by the State of Michigan.
