Access to nutritious food and everyday essentials is an important part of healthy aging. For some LGBTQ+ older adults, challenges such as transportation, mobility limitations, health concerns, financial strain, or social isolation can make it difficult to consistently access groceries and other necessities.
MiGen may be able to help.
Through food box delivery and pantry support, we work to reduce barriers to food access and help LGBTQ+ older adults maintain their health, independence, and well-being. Depending on availability, support may include food box delivery, pantry runs, or connections to additional community resources.
How We Can Help
Depending on your needs and available resources, support may include:
- • Food box delivery
- • Pantry runs and grocery assistance
- • Connections to local food resources and community programs
- • Information and referrals to additional supports and services
